This year was an year of growth for my blogs and my blogging interest. While POETICbug went on to publish 60 poems, its older sibling, AFTER SUNDOWN moved out of hiatus. There were 40 posts published at AFTER SUNDOWN as well. Even though it was not my 2015 resolution but it definitely feels amazing to have accomplished writing 100 posts in total, this year.
There were few milestones achieved like 200 likes for POETICbug's FB page and 30,000 views for the blog. Thank you all for the endless support and encouragement. There was participation in several contests. This time did win some eventually. Also few poems published in anthologies and magazines. Highlight of the year for POETICbug was being awarded by Baggout as one of the Top 16 poetry blogs in India.
The most liked poems of 2015 were:
- Diamond Dew
- The Nocturnal Darkness
ODISHA and Haiku - Earthquake continue to be the most popular poems by POETICbug.
Another major highlight of this year for POETICbug was interaction with fellow bloggers and taking that forward beyond the contest phase. Thank you to all my fellow bloggers for being so accepting of my writings and inspiring me to continue, the way you do.
Its time again when POETICbug bids adieu to 2015 and welcomes 2016.Wishing you all happiness and prosperity in the New Year. Happy New Year.
Thank you again to all of you for being so kind in reading my poems. Enjoy responsibly !

Another year closing down and POETICbug thanks all of you for your support, appreciation and feedback. This year again emotions were dressed in words and stitched into poetry. A total of 30 poems were published on the website and FB page.
The most liked poems of 2014 were:
- Haiku - Earthquake
- Haiku - Teardrop
I thank you for making one of my favourite poems "ODISHA" the most popular poem of POETICbug.
This year POETICbug blog site reached it's 15000 visitors mark and counting. Few poems were acknowledged in national and international reviews and anthologies. Participated in many contests, though did not succeed to win any. There was also my first traditionally published poetry collection "26 Footsteps" which went down subtly. :)
With happy, sad, dark and poems rendering hope, POETICbug bids adieu to 2014, so as to welcome 2015.
Wishing you all happiness and prosperity in the New Year. Happy New Year.
Thank you again for patiently reading my poems. With a strong hope to find humanity revived, see you again next year with some more improved poetry.

POETICbug blog was started on 18th March 2013 with the simple motive of sharing my poems and getting your feedback. I feel I have succeeded an inch in this endeavour having attracted 9600 visits until today. This may not be a large number as per various statistics but for me a satisfactory beginning to a wonderful journey that I had decided to embark upon in the month of March.
I am deeply grateful to all of you who spared the time and showed enough patience to read the 60 poems posted this year. Out of these the most loved poems were
- "I am a woman" and
- "That town is my home".
With a promise to post better poems and reach many more like you POETICbug thanks all of you and wishes you a prosperous year ahead in 2014.
