Keep in touch

POETICbug_Keep in touch

She sits on the armchair, holding her phone,
A routine to follow every Saturday,
Waiting cautiously to hear the phone ring,
So much to speak about the whole week,
Never to miss, a promise she made,
To her dear child when s/he left.

  1. I like that. Keeping in touch.
Cool photo of the phone too.
It's amazing how much you look forward to certain calls at the end of the week!
    Enjoyed your post!

    1. Thank you Amy. And when we are specially away from parents they definitely do wait for calls from us on the days we promised.
