Zipper

POETICbug_Zipper

Like parallel rows of metal teeth of the zipper,
You and me stand alongside in our relation,
Until the time we remain interlocked in love,
We hold our lives together, strong wedlock,
Any moment of weakness, one of us slides,
The zipper is broken for a long, long time.

    1. Thank you Paulette.
I try to keep the poems simple. I can understand your opinion though. After I have written a poem when I read the same at a later time even I fail to interpret, sometimes. :)
